Sin Chai is another and bigger Black H‘mong Village further up the valley and much less visited than Cat Cat Village. Look out for water buffalo taking their afternoon path and H‘mong children playing in the local primary school just before the start of the village.
The first part of the walk follows the ‘Cat Cat Village’ itinerary (No.7). On reaching the bridge and main road again, we continue along the same sealed road towards Sinh Chai Village. It’s a pleasant walk and there’s plenty of opportunities to watch the Black H’mong working in the rice fields.
After about a 45 mins. to 1 hour, we reach Sin Chai Village. We wander through the village and observe village life. We depart Sinh Chai Village on the same road back to Cat Cat Village. At Cat Cat Village, if you don’t feel like retracing your steps up the steep road back to the hotel there are motorbikes available (at extra cost).
